ITV News features the success story of DFN Project SEARCH graduate Joe

Joe Aldridge, who graduated from our supported internship programme at the Bradford Royal Infirmary, was interviewed on ITV news last week. Following his successful internship and graduation, Joe impressed the hospital team so much that he was offered a permanent position as a Theatre Assistant. Joe’s achievement was also recognised with an “Intern of the Year” award at the programme.

During the interview, Joe spoke about how the programme helped him break out of his shell, and his mum Susan described how she did not anticipate how successful Joe would become, “never in a million years”.
