DFN Project SEARCH’s Youth Advisory and Co-Production Assistant, writes powerful thought leadership piece for Mircolink
Harry Georgiou, DFN Project SEARCH’s Youth Advisory and Co-Production Assistant has written a powerful thought leadership piece for Mircolink, with the aim of helping to create a future in which individuals with disabilities can succeed in employment based on their passions and abilities.
At DFN Project SEARCH we are consistently challenging the misconceptions and stigma around SEND and enabling young adults with a learning disability or autism spectrum condition, or both, to reach their full potential through employment.
In the article Harry reflects on the importance of a healthy work-life balance in the lives of young disabled people and advocates how “it is crucial that we have an awareness and access to services that offer young disabled individuals a chance to meet new people and socialise.”
