Carmel McKeogh, DFN Project SEARCH Operations Director, writes impactful blog for #ScotAppWeek23
We are proud to say that Carmel McKeogh, DFN Project SEARCH Operations Director, has written an impactful and impressive blog for #ScotAppWeek23.
The blog opens with the DFN Project SEARCH belief that “Everyone deserves the right to aspire to the very best future, yet only 4.1% of people in Scotland with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) go on to secure full-time paid employment.”
Carmel goes on to speak of the launch of a new apprenticeships guide that highlights the work the initiative does to challenge pre-existing cultures, demonstrating how young people with a learning disability, autism or both can enrich the workforce.
